Computers and Internet Access

The Main Library has 14 PCs and the North Branch Library has 8 PCs for public use. Access is free for Library cardholders for two hours of computer usage per day per cardholder. Non-cardholders can pay $2.00 for a two-hour session. Library cardholders seeking more than two hours per day of free computer usage may also pay $2.00 for an additional 2-hour session. Individualized help is not available unless a computer volunteer is onsite.

All PCs use the Windows 7 operating system and Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).  They have Adobe Reader, but not Adobe Acrobat. Browsers available: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge. Patrons can save their work to the desktop or print it out. Black and white printing cost $.15 a page. Color printing is $.60 a page. There are no CD or DVD drives on the PCs.

The Main Library and North Branch Library offer free WiFi to Library patrons during operating hours. Please ask at the information desk for the password.
